Amanda Jones is a Los Angeles based film composer whose music production credits include: Dear White People (TV Series), How to Train Your Dragon 2, Kingsman: The Secret Service, the Emmy Award-winning show Orange Is the New Black, Oprah’s scripted drama Greenleaf, the original score for Eli Roth's mini-series on Crypt TV and the award winning film Across the Tracks.
Amanda received her BA in music from Vassar College studying music production and classical guitar under Terry Champlin. She received certificates in film scoring and orchestration from the Berklee College of Music and has worked in several studios alongside composers: Michael A. Levine, Hans Zimmer, Henry Jackman and John Powell.
Amanda also performs as the singer and guitarist of the Los Angeles based indie rock band, The Anti-Job. Her music has received airplay on a variety of radio stations including, BBC Radio 6 and Los Angeles NPR station, KCRW 89.9FM. Notable syncs include Lisa Kudrow’s quirky web series Shitty Boyfriends (CW/ Refinery 29).
